Sunday Random Rail Shot
On Sundays I will be taking a break from my normal writing activities on this blog, but I don’t want leave you empty handed. In that spirit, on Sundays I will post a random railroad related photo. Unless stated otherwise, I took all of the photographs that I will use so consider asking me first if you decide to use them. Without further delay:
Indiana High Rail RSD-15 “Alligator” #442. I took this picture years ago in Defiance, Ohio in the yard that later became headquarters for the now defunct Maumee and Western. I didn’t date the photo so I am not sure exactly when I took it but it had to be in the late 1990s or very early 2000s. I consider myself blessed to have been able to see this very rare locomotive that is still alive and kicking somewhere in Texas, I believe.
