Merry Christmas People!

Wow, it’s Christmas Time again.  I promise there will be more content coming soon, school and family commitments have left me with precious little time but I have some things in the works that I think you will enjoy.

Wabash and Erie EMD SW-1200 #221.  Wabash and Erie (WAER) was one of the names assumed by Indiana Hi-Rail Corp. during the very end of its life.  I’m not too familiar with the details but WAER and WOHO were two sets of reporting marks used on Indiana Hi-Rail equipment because of something having to do with ICC and the IHRC’s bankruptcy in the late 1990’s.  I snapped this shot in Defiance, Ohio in the very late 1990’s.
